Mel and Mike are a most professional but friendly team very worthy of a 5 star rating. They have transformed my much loved but dated piece of furniture into a modern statement piece. Mel’s advice on colours was much appreciated. I readily recommend them and will be using them again soon

Asked Mike and Melanie to restore a Pew we had been given as a wedding present. It was to be a surprise for my wife’s birthday so secrecy was the order of the day! They did a fantastic job, even covered up my own attempt at restoration, and offered to keep it hidden until the day in question. I would definitely use them again!!

Thanks so much Melanie and Mike.... we were looking for a finish for our table which would blend in with our kitchen, just take a look at the before (yellow) and now the after (lime) - we got exactly what we asked for! Absolute pleasure working with Revived & Restore and would highly recommend them.

Melanie and Mike have recently restored all of our dining room furniture, a bookcase and a nest of tables which were all dark oak but have now been totally revived! All of the solid oak tops were sanded down and finished back to their natural colour and the grain of the wood can now be seen in all its glory! The cabinets were all hand painted inside and out, with updated knobs and the chairs painted and upholstered beautifully. We cannot recommend Revived and Restored highly enough and our thanks go out to them for giving our battered and bruised furniture a new lease of life.

We ordered two units from Revived & Restored. One bespoke double unit to replace an existing unit where we need fairly precise measurements and one single unit from stock. Melanie quickly found a unit that met our requirements and was to our taste. We communicated regularly via what’s app group which was really handy. Having chosen our units we then chose basin, taps etc from various different options Melanie presented. All went very smoothly and we now have both our units which are waiting to be installed.

I had a corner cabinet which belonged to my parents which I loved but it was in a dark wood and looked quite dated. Melanie upcycled it in the paint to match my dinning room furniture and it looks fantastic! It really suits my room now and was so glad I could reuse it and not have to sell or scrap it. Melanie also painted 2 chairs I had which were also in dark wood and again look fabulous. She advised me on Colours and also sourced fabric for me for the upholstery of the chairs My furniture was collected and delivered back to me and Melanie was always easy to contact and communicate with answering any queries I had. If you are wondering about what to do with a much loved piece of furniture but would like a change don’t scrap it upcycle it you will be amazed at what Melanie can do! I wouldn’t hesitate to use her and ‘revived and restored ‘ again

We commissioned two bathroom vanities and they are just beautiful. Melanie helped me decide on the the pieces of furniture to be upcycled, checked that they would be suitable (though she can also source these for you) and then did a fantastic job of turning a couple of pretty ugly units into beautiful pieces of furniture that add so much character to the house. Would totally recommend.

I have a dining table and chairs which I love but were dark pine and just didn’t suit my dining area. I decided to sell them but just couldn’t find replacements that I liked. I am so thankful that they didn’t sell as I then thought about having them painted as I really didn’t want to let them go! Revived and Restored to the rescue! Melanie and Mike have completely changed the look of the furniture and to say I’m thrilled is an understatement! They now fit beautifully into my dining area and I can’t stop looking at them! Last December I googled restoration of furniture as I was looking for a kitchen table to be restored which we had been given by a family member after our recent move. I couldn’t believe it when Revived & Restored came up in our own village Anslow I had to look twice if it was our own village. I rang them straight away & spoke to Melanie who was lovely & gave me a few ideas to add to how I thought the table should look. Our table was given a new look also the top is now hard wearing & wipeable we are thrilled to bits & it looks now in keeping with our farmhouse kitchen. Melanie & Mike have since restored our hall table which is circa 60 years old inherited from my Grandad & a shelf unit which had been in our garage years now being used every day.
